• Visitor Counter: This Counter software is available to Mason students, faculty, and staff with instructions designed for the official Mason server (www.gmu.edu). Counters are not supported on the Mason academic research system (mason.gmu.edu), so if your website address begins with "mason.gmu.edu" or "osf1.gmu.edu" the Visitor Counter will not work.

• HTACCESS: Password protect directories on the official Mason server (www.gmu.edu). HTACCESS is supported on the Mason academic research system (mason.gmu.edu), so if your website address begins with "mason.gmu.edu" or "osf1.gmu.edu" HTACCESS will work.

• CGI PERL Script: Sample code to assist you in creating and implementing an e-mail form on your official Mason (www.gmu.edu) website. CGI scripts are not enabled on the Mason academic research system (mason.gmu.edu), so if your website address begins with "mason.gmu.edu" or "osf1.gmu.edu" CGI scripts will not work.

• Python Tutorial: Python is a programming language that is used for scripting and rapid application development. Python can be used on the official Mason server (www.gmu.edu).
