Internet Explorer 7

On February 14, 2008, Internet Explorer Version 7 (IE7) was unintentionally deployed and installed to MESA users. While IE7 in itself is a stable, standard web browser with enhanced security features and functionality, IE7 is not compatible with Mason's web e-mail client (https://mail.gmu.edu), a number of web-based applications and it is not supported by the vendor SunGard SCT, for use with PatriotWeb/Banner. Therefore, the ITU is STRONGLY recommending that MESA users remove IE7 from their computer.
