SYMANTEC ENDPOINT PROTECTION/ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE
Install Symantec Endpoint Protection/AntiVirus on your computer. Go to http://itusupport.gmu.edu/downloads/nortonAV.asp to download and get installation instructions. The ITU Support Center highly recommends that you set Symantec for daily virus definition updates. After installing Symantec Endpoint Protection/Antivirus, double-click on the yellow shield icon by the clock at the bottom right hand corner of your screen, go to "Change Settings," click "Configure Settings" for Client Management," click on the "Schedule Updates" tab, check "Enable Automatic Updates", choose "Daily," and choose a time of day that your computer is normally on. Click "OK".
