Directions for Setting Up Your System for Internet Access: Your computer will now automatically obtain an IP address so you can connect to the network from your residence hall room. Resident students will be behind a NAT (Network Address Translation), so you will automatically be given a 42.x.x.x address. Once you have established your connection, bring up your browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or Netscape). You will then need to authenticate using your email username and password. Once you have completed that step, you will have full access to the Internet. |
