E-mail Encryption Instructions:
Outlook 2007 for Windows
- Open Outlook 2007.
Select the Tools menu and select Account Settings.
- Select E-mail, then click
New.

- Select the Internet E-mail
radial and click Next.

- Remove the check mark from Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types and click Next.

Please note: If you are accessing your e-mail through an Internet Service
Provider (such as Earthlink, Cox, Verizon, etc.), your provider may
supply their own outbound mail server (e.g., smtp.east.cox.net) and
require that their outbound mail server be used. Please DO NOT change
this setting.
- Select the Internet E-mail radial and click Next.

- Change Account Type to IMAP and fill in the remainder of the form. Click on More Settings.

- Choose the Outgoing Server Tab. Put a check mark in My outgoing server requires authentication.

- Click on the Advanced
tab.

- Click on the Down Arrow under the Incoming Server (IMAP) and choose SSL. Click on the Down Arrow under the Outgoing Server (SMTP) and choose TLS.
- Click OK,
then click Next, and then
Finish.
- Exit and reopen before
you use your e-mail.
- Please
be sure to do all Microsoft Office updates from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx
(use Internet Explorer) before you setup for encrypted e-mail.
